Tristen Comeys Celebrates 1 Year with Bauer Family Resources

Talbott Talent proudly commemorates the one-year anniversary of our placed nonprofit executive director, Tristen Comegys as the Executive Director of Bauer Family Resources. A collaborative effort between Talbott Talent and the search committee comprised of the select members of the nonprofit’s board of directors led to the successful placement of Comegys.

As a Purdue University graduate with a B.A. in communications, Comegys brings a profound dedication to empowering children and families. Over the past year, her leadership has driven Bauer Family Resources' success in enhancing program delivery, amplifying organizational impact, and proactively developing the workforce.

Bauer Family Resources established a member search committee and engaged Talbott Talent, a nonprofit executive recruiting firm, to carry out an extensive and inclusive national search. Talbott Talent employed a recruitment-based approach, proactively seeking out the best and most qualified candidates to lead the organization. The search firm worked with the search committee to ensure the search was inclusive, engaging strategies to recruit a diverse pool of qualified candidates and executing a fair and consistent interview process. Comegys was selected to serve as Bauer Family Resources’ Executive Director.

In her first year in leadership, she has done an amazing job furthering the mission and vision of the growing nonprofit in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Comegys, with her focus on transparency and community outreach, has worked diligently to elevate Bauer Family Resources from a "best-kept secret" to a recognized force in the community. We applaud her vision and determination in achieving these milestones!
